LOOK: CHED-funded project titled, “Formulation of Nutrichips for Disaster Resiliency”, is spearheaded by Dr. Evaristo Abella, Dean of the College of Science. It aims to come up with a nutritious-packed food, utilizing locally abundant raw materials (mushroom, moringa and seaweeds) that can be consumed before, during and after calamities. This project is in collaboration with the Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management and College of Home Science and Industry and the Pangasinan State University Binmaley Campus. The Municipality of Anda was chosen as the pilot area because of its abundance in seaweeds.
