Office of the Dean

Welcome to the CLSU College of Science Website.

The College of Science is committed to provide excellent learning experience, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to our main clients – the students, also to initiate and organize capacity building programs to our faculty and staff despite the challenges and restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is to sustain the community of globally-competent, socially-responsible, resilient, and adaptive faculty, staff, and students. The college continues to serve the community through extension projects that are responsive to the needs of the time, on top of the progress in the academe by ways of technological innovations and advanced researches. These initiatives are contributions of the college for the CLSU to continuously realize its philosophy and mission to create an impact not only in the academe but also to the society it serves.

In line with the university’s vision of becoming a world-class national research university for science and technology in agriculture and allied fields, the College of Science engages its faculty, staff and students in research and extension activities, exchange programs, and other collaborations with the local and international partner institutions and agencies. Faculty scholars are also being sent to universities here and abroad for the continuous faculty development program that strengthens faculty line up and workforce in the hope to give excellent service to humanity at a sustained scheme.

The College of Science, with its laurels on its flagship in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mathematics and Physics and Statistics, has always been and will always work for students, the community and the other stakeholders. The faculty and staff are dedicated to broaden their horizon and deepen knowledge, skills, and competencies towards becoming competent educators and researchers who are committed to value humanity to serve the university in particular and the country in general. With the concerted efforts from the key players, we hope we are bringing CLSU to where it should be in the international arena.

There is no stopping of the delivery of quality services – this we take as a serious pledge. We, at the College of Science, hereby declare, “Excellent service to humanity is our commitment.”
